Black Magic Animal Rescue’s ringworm care program is dedicated to providing comprehensive treatment for cats infected with this highly contagious fungal infection. We offer a quarantined environment where affected animals receive frequent medicated baths, antifungal treatments, and daily monitoring to ensure their recovery. Our team is trained to minimize the spread within the shelter, and we educate potential adopters on post-adoption care to help prevent recurrence. This program ensures that infected cats are not overlooked or stigmatized, and are given the chance to fully heal before finding their forever homes. 

Our hospice program focuses on providing compassionate, end-of-life care for terminally ill pets, ensuring that their remaining time is filled with comfort and love and not in a crowded shelter. We create a soothing environment where these animals receive pain management, palliative care, and emotional support. Each pet in our hospice program is treated with respect and dignity, surrounded by the affection of our staff and volunteers. Our goal is to ensure that every pet experiences a peaceful transition, free from suffering, while knowing they are cherished in their final days. We are always needing fosters to help care for these pets. It is difficult to open your home to an animal in the last stages of it's life, but they are the ones who need a kind hand the most. At Black Magic Animal Rescue, our neonatal unit is designed to care for the most vulnerable—kittens and puppies who are orphaned or too young to survive on their own. This unit operates 24/7, with staff providing bottle feeding, warmth, and constant supervision to ensure these fragile animals grow strong and healthy. Our specialized care protocols include feeding every few hours, monitoring weight gain, and preventing common neonatal issues such as hypothermia or dehydration. The goal of our neonatal unit is to give these tiny animals the best possible start in life. We always need volunteers who are willing to make this huge commitment. We provide all the equipment needed.

This unique feral cat companion program at Black Magic Animal Rescue is dedicated to improving the lives of feral and semi-feral cats by offering a path to socialization and care. Our team works with community cats, gradually building trust and offering companionship in a controlled environment. For those who prefer the wild, we practice Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) to help manage population control, while for more social cats, we work to find patient homes willing to continue their socialization journey. Many are sweet and enjoy the company of other animals and people, but do not enjoy being handled. They are dependent on people for food and do not make good feral colony cats. This program ensures that every cat, no matter their background, has a chance for a safe and fulfilling life.
